The first true PolyDBMS and the last database you'll need.

ℹ What is Polypheny?

Polypheny is a multi-model PolyDBMS. The PolyDBMS concept is an evolution from the polystore concept. A PolyDBMS combines multiple databases into a unified system, which allows database administrators and engineers to interact with one unified system but still query all underlying systems.

It allows to not only query the underlying systems but also do define schemas as well as modify the data of those systems.

This enables you to work with a wide range of heterogenous data of various kind and type.

Supports Widely-Known Databases

Polypheny supports two types of underlying databases, Sources and Stores.

Sources are managed externally and can directly be attached to Polypheny to retrieve all contaioned data through all query interfaces.

Additionally Polypheny supports Stores to fully manage and retrieve all integrated data through Polypheny to take full control of all operations. Such as defining the schema, managing their content, as well as partitioning and replicating to distribute the data globally.
